Description
Tiffen Satin filters are very gentle diffusion. They do not blur the image or eat detail — they only take the edge off digital over-sharpness: shadows keep their depth, fine skin texture settles down, and a barely perceptible glow appears around highlights. Many DPs treat Satin as a filter that simply lives on the lens — it does not change the picture, it just makes it more pleasant. Grades from 1/8 to 2 are included.
