VAXIS STORM 1000S

The VAXIS STORM 1000S sends the camera image wirelessly to the director’s monitor. Latency is under 1 ms, so the monitor changes at the same moment as the camera — the focus puller can work with confidence. Line-of-sight range reaches 300 metres. The transmitter takes 3G-SDI and HDMI in; the receiver offers two SDI outputs and one HDMI, so several monitors can be fed at once. Twenty selectable channels make it possible to find clean air even on a crowded set.
